In 1996 we launched Best Restaurants of Australia, the first dining website in Australia. We continue to invest in a talented team of food writers who provide reliable restaurant reviews and content with a particular focus on the latest foodie trends, new restaurants, hot spots, food and wine events, chef features, Top 10 feature articles and gourmet destinations.

In 2011 we introduced the Best Restaurants Gift Card in to over 3,000 stores in Australia. Our restaurant card has grown to be one of the most popular gift cards available in Australia currently offering over 400 restaurants to choose from. We have many award winning restaurants, family friendly, wineries, cafes in each state accepting the card and the numbers are expanding regularly.

In October 2015 we launched the Best Spas Gift Card also in to over 3,000 stores in Australia. This card was launched due to the large number of requests we were receiving from viewers to our sites, particularly in the corporate and conference market who were keen to offer a spa card for friends and colleagues.

de Groots Media supplies restaurant content to Destination NSW web sites also to Queensland and Tasmania Tourism web sites. Restaurants and spa treatments are a very important part of the tourism industry with many travellers from interstate and overseas choosing a hotel or retreat based on the beauty/health facilities they offer so we are pleased to be contributing to this very important industry. In a 2012 survey commissioned by Hilton Hotels and Resorts, nearly half of respondents said the existence of a hotel spa was an important factor in choosing where to stay.
