Terms & Conditions for corporates

  1. These are terms & conditions that apply to use of Best Gift Cards™. Users of the Best Gift Cards™ accept these conditions of use.
  2. Best Gift Cards™ are not registered to any user. Consequently anyone in possession of a card may use it. Any use of the card is deemed to be made by the card holder. So keep your card in a secure place. Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen cards will not be replaced.
  3. Best Gift Cards™ cannot be redeemed for cash, reloaded, returned for a refund, have their balances consolidated to a new gift card, or be replaced after expiry and are not legal tender, account cards, credit or debit cards or securities. Cash cannot be given for any unused amount.
  4. Best Gift Cards™ expire 3 years from the date of issue which can be checked here. Cards may not be redeemed after their expiry date.
  5. Best Gift Cards™ cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer unless otherwise advised by the individual restaurant or spa/beauty salon.
  6. There is no GST included in the cost of the gift cards. The GST is on the product that purchasers buy with their gift card.
  7. Any problem experienced with a Best Gift Card™ payment, acceptance or other operational matter should be reported to us at cardholder@bestgiftcards.com.au so we may resolve any difficulties as promptly as possible.
  8. de Groots Best Cards™ acts as agent for restaurants and spas/beauty salons on this site. Any complaint about the experience purchased should be taken to the supplier in the first instance.
  9. Card holders are encouraged to make their own enquiries by contacting individual restaurants and spas/beauty salons for up-to-date information. It should be understood that the inclusion of any restaurant, spa/beauty salon or product on our websites does not mean that the publisher warrants in any way that your requirements will be satisfied.
  1. People making bookings and purchasers of gift cards accept that de Groots Media does not control the availability of seats, preparation of food, descriptions in menus and wine lists, bookings or services provided or the billing policies of restaurants and spas/beauty salons on this site.
  2. This publication and any references to products or services are provided ‘as is’ without any warranty or implied term or condition of any kind.
  3. The sale of a gift card in no way implies that de Groots Media warrants the products or services of that restaurant or spa/beauty salon.
  4. de Groots Media reserves the right to add, modify or delete any information at this website, including the terms & conditions at any time.
  5. Our liability is limited to replacing faulty gift cards.
  6. We may cancel any gift card, or the gift card scheme, for any reason at any time without notice. If so, we may either provide a refund or a replacement gift card of equivalent value unless we reasonably suspect fraud in relation to a gift card. The gift card remains our property.
  7. Best Gift Cards™ may be cancelled should purchasers fail to pay any request for payment made to the card purchaser.
  8. The laws of the state of New South Wales apply to this agreement. By entering into this agreement you unconditionally submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
