The Empire is your classic local, and then some. This traditional Aussie pub (with a storied history, it's been around since 1902!) is every local's go-to for a laid-back drink, lunch with friends, and family  dinners. They've got a menu of inventive Italian dishes from their on-site eatery, Dale's Pizza, endless taps of old faithfuls (plus a bunch of craft beers and ciders), an extensive wine and cocktail list, and regular specials to save you a buck. They're also home to Double Happy Chinese, your new favourite Australian-Chinese local. Settle in around a Lazy Susan with the whole crew, or kick back in one of our intimate red leather booths with a mate (or a date), and enjoy a menu stacked with all of your favourite retro classics.                                                    Double Happy is open for dinner Thursday-Friday 5.30pm-late & Saturday-Sunday 5pm-late. ***Please note that Double Happy does not accept the Best Restaurants of Australia Gift Card***.              Dale's Pizza is open Monday-Thursday 12pm-3pm & 5pm-9:30pm and Thursday-Saturday 10am-3am and accepts the Best Restaurants of Australia Gift Card   Photography: Courtesy of Empire Hotel
