At the gateway to the Margaret River at Dunsborough is Yarri, a sophisticated space to enjoy creative, modern dishes. Yarri, the Aboriginal word for the blackbutt tree native to the south-west, is the mastermind of chef Aaron Carr who established his reputation working at Vasse Felix for 21 years. The wine list, as you would expect, is a showcase of the region’s best while the food remains close to home with WA produce fronting every dish.
